This talk will be about Frappe Builder: an open source visual builder anyone can self-host.
I'll open frappe.io, the homepage of a global open source company, and look closely: custom layouts, typography, pages that load almost instantly. It wasn't hand-coded or built on WordPress or Framer. It was made with Frappe Builder. In five minutes, I'll take the site apart to show how it's put together, and why a tool that produces something this distinctive is ready for your production site too.
I build tools for people who build things. At Frappe, that's Frappe Builder, the open source website builder I started in 2022 because I wanted something simple, fast, and nice to use. It now runs frappe.io, which still feels a little surreal.
