2026-11-05 –, Workshop 2
This workshop will be a hands-on workshop that that will introduce and overview the Nym mixnet's SDK, with a focus on privacy and censorship-resistance. We will go over a number of different integration points, including RPC nodes and wallets (light clients) so developers can easily understand why they should add a mixnet to their software and what it gets them, as well as its limits.
This workshop will be a hands-on workshop that that will introduce and overview the Nym mixnet's SDK, with a focus on privacy and censorship-resistance for Ethereum-based wallets. We will go over a number of different integration points, including RPC nodes and wallets (light clients) so developers can easily understand why they should add a mixnet, and direct integration vs. using SOCKS clients. Based on our experience with integrations in the Zcash ecosystem, we'll go through the threat models (which adversaries are passively watching network traffic or actively corrupting the network). The we'll go through different programming languages that can be supported, questions over TCP/IP and UDP, Single-Use Reply Blocks, and setting up "hidden services" inside the Nym mixnet. Finally we'll cover censorship-resistance via the SDK, such as domain-fronting and traffic obfuscation to break censorship in countries like Russia and China.
