Art as a tool for Freedom - Infinite Garden Artist Cohort group
2026-11-06 –, Jasmine Stage 4

What does freedom look like when expressed through art?

The Infinite Garden Artist Cohort brings artists into conversation with Ethereum's values—censorship resistance, open source, privacy, security, and self-sovereignty—to explore what they mean culturally and socially.

This talk brings together cohort artists to share how their practices interpret these values and how art can become a tool for questioning power, imagining alternatives, and shaping a more open and human-centered future.

Technology alone cannot create a free and open society. The values embedded in technology also need to be understood, questioned, expressed, and carried into culture.

Through the Infinite Garden Artist Cohort, artists from different disciplines spend two months exploring Ethereum's vision and values through lectures, studio practice, and critique, culminating in a group exhibition at Devcon.

In this session, cohort artists will present their work and discuss how themes such as censorship resistance, privacy, autonomy, openness, and decentralization appear through their individual practices. Together, we'll explore a broader question: What role can art play in the ongoing struggle for human freedom?
