Security by obscurity is dead: How LLMs can take over hardware
2026-11-06 –, Lotus Stage 1

Almost all hardware runs on proprietary code. The reasoning was always that code is a trade secret, so even though it could hide bugs, finding them is too expensive. With LLMS, that proprietary code is almost as clear as source code; and with a few tricks, they can find enough bugs to chain together into real exploits. This talk is a short presentation on how an LMMs hunts and exploits vulnerabilities.
