Aggregation Hub - Can Ethereum Feel Like One Chain Without Becoming One?
2026-11-03 –, Jasmine Stage 4

Ethereum increasingly needs to feel like one system without actually becoming one. This conversation examines which parts of the ecosystem should converge, which differences are worth preserving, and what builders should take away as they design for a more interoperable yet decentralized Ethereum.

Ethereum’s scaling has created a diverse landscape of rollups, bridges, ecosystems, standards, and communities. That diversity brought experimentation and scale, but also fragmented liquidity, UX, tooling, and increasingly, Ethereum’s own identity. As the original rollup-centric vision is being reassessed and new interoperability and aggregation approaches emerge, the question is no longer only how to make Ethereum technically feel like one system.

It is also how to preserve a shared sense of Ethereum across increasingly independent ecosystems and competing visions. Technical interoperability is only one part of that problem. This conversation explores what should feel unified, what should remain independent, and which shared principles can enable coordination without sacrificing sovereignty, decentralization, privacy, or pluralism.

How can Ethereum become more coherent without becoming more centralized?

Gopi is a software and protocol builder working across decentralized systems, cryptography, privacy, and wallet infrastructure, with a focus on turning complex protocol ideas into systems that are easier to inspect, understand, and build with. He previously served as President and led Education & Research at TUM Blockchain Club, one of Europe’s largest student-run Web3 communities.

Vojta is a crypto native builder working on OWN, a p2p lending project focused on fixed-rate, long-term DeFi lending. He is also the lead organizer for ETHPrague 2027.
