2026-11-03 –, Workshop 1
AI is changing how people learn, build, and launch products on Ethereum. What does that mean for builders? Austin Griffith explores how new tools help individuals and small teams turn ideas into working apps, why understanding Ethereum still matters, and how the focus is shifting toward deciding what to build and making something people want to use. Austin will also outline the agenda for the day.
The path from an idea to an Ethereum app is changing fast. AI can help explain unfamiliar concepts, write smart contracts, and build interfaces. So where should builders focus their time?
Austin Griffith shares a view of the Ethereum builder ecosystem and how it is adapting. Using examples from SpeedRun Ethereum, Learning Lab and ETH Skills, he explores new ways to learn and build, and what they make possible for solo founders and small teams.
He also looks at the work that still needs human judgment: understanding why an app needs Ethereum, designing incentives, checking an agent’s work, and finding out whether a product is useful. The talk brings together Ethereum concepts and lessons from builders using AI to show what is changing, and what still matters.
At the end of the talk, Austin will outline the agenda for the day.
