One Ethereum: Same Block, Every Chain (Part II)
2026-11-04 –, Lotus Stage 1

A continuation of the previous session with Friederike Ernst. We'll continue to unpack what becomes possible when any network can prove its state within a block - EVM or not, public or private - without changing Ethereum. Includes live demos.

Ethereum is becoming an ecosystem of rollups, but they cannot interact synchronously. Dapps and users rely on asynchronous infrastructure, fragmenting liquidity and adding delays, security assumptions, and less seamless experiences.
EEZ offers a different model: contracts on Ethereum and other chains interact synchronously, with calls that return data, revert, and trigger nested calls or callbacks within one atomic operation.
This talk presents EEZ’s architecture, from rollup execution to atomic settlement on Ethereum, and the role of real-time proving in secure synchronous execution, while retaining support for other proving systems. It then introduces RollupX, the first EEZ-powered based rollup, showing how based sequencing, proofs, and atomic settlement bring synchronous composability to a real rollup.
Finally, we’ll explore EEZ’s potential to reshape how applications, liquidity, and users interact across chains and how EEZ and RollupX advance the vision of a Synchronous Ethereum
