This talk explores the evolving Ethereum DeFI and DEX landscape, the challenges of liquidity fragmentation, and the trade-offs between capital efficiency, market depth and risk management.
Drawing on his firsthand experience building Fluid, this talk explores the evolving Ethereum DeFI and DEX landscape, and how liquidity models can allow lending and trading to operate on the same capital, alongside innovations in automated market maker design, collateral efficiency and liquidation mechanisms.
The session will also cover the evolution of DEX architectures, including how DEX v2 approaches volatile trading pairs through range orders, cross-margin, hooks and dynamic fees, and what these developments could mean for liquidity provision and the broader Ethereum ecosystem.
Samyak Jain is the Founder of Fluid and Co-founder of Instadapp, innovating in crypto and DeFi since 2018.
