Open Source Robotics with Ethereum
2026-11-04 –, Lightning Stage

Many teams with roots in blockchain moved to work on AI infrastructure, hardware, and robotics. Examples include OpenRouter, Menlo, CoreWeave, and many others. I will talk about about the ideas of open source robotics for humanoids, dextrous hands, edge compute deployments, satellites, healthcare devices and other. I will discuss the global supply chain crunch, and how we can design more accessible infrastructure and automation for edge independence.

By the time of the presentation I will have assembled by myself an open source Menlo robot (I am one of the first buyers globally and in the first batch of people that will receive components - I will be assembling it in Singapore in September. I am also planning to assemble open source orca hand.
