DESCRIPTION:Visdom is back with a major new release.\n\nOver the past years
\, contributors from the FOSSASIA community and beyond have worked on hund
reds of changes across the project. The result is a much more capable Visd
om with new ways to track\, compare and understand machine-learning experi
ments\, a significantly expanded visualization toolkit\, new framework int
egrations\, improved image and embedding workflows\, better exports\, stro
nger testing and major improvements across the server and frontend.\n\nIn
this session\, Vedansh will show what is new in Visdom and demonstrate som
e of the most useful features directly: experiment tracking\, experiment s
earch and comparison\, hyperparameter analysis\, integrations with PyTorch
 \, Lightning\, scikit-learn\, Keras\, XGBoost and Optuna\, new visualizati
on types\, improved image workflows and many smaller improvements througho
ut the platform.\n\nThe new release is also the result of a growing open-s
ource contributor community. We will look at how the project has developed
\, what contributors have built together and how regular collaboration is
helping Visdom move forward again.\n\nAnd there is more coming. We are wor
king with developers and researchers on the next set of improvements\, exp
anding support for modern AI workflows and developing **Visdom Dev**\, a h
osted platform that will make it possible to use Visdom online without ope
rating your own server.\n\nVisdom 0.3 is available now on GitHub and PyPI.
Join the session to see what has changed\, try the new features and find
out how to get involved in what comes next.

DESCRIPTION:Writing daily progress updates is one of the most skipped habit
s in open source\, yet it's how maintainers and mentors see what you're wo
rking on. Scrum Helper is FOSSASIA's open source browser extension that tu
rns your GitHub activity (pull requests\, issues and reviews) into a ready
-to-send progress report in seconds. In this lightning talk\, we show how
it works\, how FOSSASIA contributors use it to keep projects transparent\,
and how you can contribute to the extension yourself.

DESCRIPTION:Every 12 seconds\, Ethereum produces a new block full of transa
ctions\, fees and smart-contract activity. Most people only see this data
as a list of hashes on a block explorer. In this hands-on workshop\, you w
ill turn it into a live dashboard of your own.\n\nWe'll use Visdom and [We
b3.py](http://Web3.py) to connect to an Ethereum node and stream blockchai
n data into charts. By the end of the session\, each participant will have
a working dashboard that updates with every new block\, showing:\n\n- bas
e fee and priority fee over time\n\n- transactions per block\n\n- legacy v
 s. EIP-1559 transaction types\n\n- the distribution of ETH transferred\n\n
 - a network overview panel with the latest headline figures\n\nYou'll lear
n how to arrange and save dashboard layouts\, and how to set up separate e
nvironments for mainnet\, testnets or individual contracts. We'll also loo
 k at next steps: smart-contract analytics\, DeFi and NFT tracking\, node h
ealth monitoring\, and visualizing machine-learning models trained on on-c
hain data\, such as anomaly or bot detection.\n\nNo blockchain experience
is needed. Basic Python is enough.\n\n**What participants bring:** A lapto
p with Python 3 installed\, and a free Ethereum RPC endpoint from any prov
ider. It would help to share setup instructions in advance so no workshop
 time goes to installs.
