I’m Mohit Grover, an Ethereum Protocol Fellow in cohort 7 and an open-source contributor to Hive and Ream. My work focuses on testing Lean Ethereum’s signature lifecycle, turning XMSS signing assumptions into reproducible client integration tests. I’m interested in protocol engineering, client interoperability, and making Ethereum’s infrastructure more reliable.

My EPF project brings black-box testing of Lean Ethereum’s signature lifecycle into Hive, starting with Ream. I’ll share how we turn XMSS signing assumptions into reproducible client tests, covering conflicting requests, preparation boundaries, and recovery, and explain why verifying a signature is only part of testing a signer.
